About The Project
At the base of the roaring Niagara Falls, Buffalo, New York is a bit of hidden gem that’s steeped in culture, art, architecture and local treasures. At Substance we were tasked with helping showcase this reemerging tourist destination with some small and large technical tasks:
- Move to a fully responsive web experience
- Import, massage, remap, and transfer data and content from Simpleview CRM to WordPress’ much more robust and flexible publishing platform via custom importer
- Build an editorial and page-level content publishing platform that’s both infinitely flexible and easy to use for content admin
- Map and list travel resources based on a highly flexible taxonomical structure by utilizing custom internal APIs
